Grotto Enterprises Presents
The LeRoy Grotto Memorial Collection
(Landscape Photography)

LeRoy Grotto (1922 - 1998), an attorney from Wheaton, loved to take pictures during his travels, or just around town.
He became interested in photography during his stint as a flyer in the Army during WWII flying B24 Liberators when his crew had to take aerial photos of the bombing runs. LeRoy wasn't able to pursue his interest in photography until he retired from International Havester, and was working as a partner in a Wheaton law firm. He took quite a few photography classes at College of DuPage and took up the hobby with zest, taking family and travel pictures. During his life, LeRoy Grotto earned military and civilian pilot's licenses, degrees in chemistry, engineering and law, as well as 2 undergraduate degrees.

Samples of his photos in the "LeRoy Grotto Memorial Collection" are displayed below. The photos have been altered slightly to accentuate his artistry. To view the creative work of other Grotto family members, please go to www.grottodesign.com and www.mattgrotto.com.
